■ Body: Integral cast body, lug design. Can be used for pipe wafer mounting as well as pipe end mounting. The upper flange connection meets the ISO5211 standard and is compatible with direct installation of manual operation actuators and pneumatic actuators/electric actuators.
■ Valve plate: high-strength casting, the edge of the valve plate is machined spherical surface, and is hand-polished or the whole valve plate is nylon sprayed or covered with rubber, low operating torque and long service life of the valve seat. Streamlined plate profile reduces flow resistance, increases Cv values, and enhances pressure recovery.

■ Valve seat: There is a water line molded into one body on the valve seat, and there is no need to add flange gaskets during installation. The valve seat is specially designed for loose flange or welded flange.
■ Stem: Through-shaft pinless and dual-shaft pinless designs are available upon request.
Relying on the structural characteristics and axial sealing design of the centerline butterfly valve, the dry shaft design feature makes the valve stem completely isolated from the medium. Replaces highly corrosion-resistant stem material, so standard stem material can be used.
The connection between the valve plate and the valve stem is precisely machined to ensure that linkage hysteresis is eliminated, and all connections are designed to produce a maximum strength bond. All ASIAV stems are blowout proof.
For dual-shaft pinless designs, a precise flat or square stem end to the valve plate drives the valve plate, eliminating the need for screws and pins, and the tight-fitting flat or square stem end drives the valve plate, this is ASIAV unique design features.

■ Bushing: Corrosion-resistant phenolic resin/PTFE bushing absorbs side thrust. Brass is also available for the bushing material.
■ Anti-Blowout Design: A retaining ring is installed between the machined stem groove and the upper seal to keep the stem in place in the event of an internal failure due to unexpected events.
■ Primary seal and secondary seal: This type of seal completely isolates the fluid medium from the valve body and stem. The primary seal is obtained by pre-compressed contact of the machined and hand-polished valve plate shoulder with the inner surface of the valve seat. The secondary seal is obtained by the interference fit of the stem and seat bore. The self-adjusting “triple O-ring” sealing design can ensure two-way absolute sealing and prevent foreign substances from entering the valve stem cavity.
■ Actuator installation: Based on the modular concept design, ASIAV actuators including handle, worm gear reducer, pneumatic and electric actuators can be directly installed with ASIAV wafer midline soft sealing butterfly valve without any bracket. Field installation is easy, reducing tolerances and overall height.
