The valve stem of the globe valve is generally rotated and lifted, and the handwheel is fixed on the top of the valve stem. When the handwheel is rotated clockwise, the thread of the valve stem is screwed down, the sealing surface of the disc is in close contact with the sealing surface of the valve seat, and the globe valve is in a closed state; when the handwheel is rotated counterclockwise, the thread of the valve stem is screwed up, and the disc is closed. Operating characteristics of globe valve
The sealing form of the jis 10k globe valve is forced sealing. When the valve is closed, sufficient force must be applied to the valve disc, and the sealing must be above the specific pressure to achieve sealing. Since the sealing force and the medium pressure are on the same axis, when the medium enters from the lower part of the valve disc (low in and high out), because the medium pressure is in the opposite direction to the sealing force, the closing torque of the valve is much greater than the opening torque, and the valve stem bears a large amount of pressure. The stress is compressive stress, so it must have sufficient strength and rigidity, otherwise the valve stem will deform flexibly. Because of this, when the size of the globe valve is larger than DN150 (NPS16), in order to reduce the valve operating torque and thus reduce the diameter of the valve stem, the medium flow direction is usually changed from the upper part of the valve disc to enter (high in and low out), and the medium pressure at this time. In the same direction as the sealing force, under the action of medium pressure, the valve is easier to achieve sealing, the closing torque becomes smaller, the opening torque increases, and the large stress on the valve stem is tensile stress, and the diameter of the valve stem can be reduced accordingly.
